Summer Art Camp
June 3 through the 8
The Fitzgerald Ben Hill Arts Council is gearing up for Summer Art Camp happening June 3 through the 8. This year the theme is water. Campers will explore myths and legends related to the sea and natural waters as well as biology. The weeklong camp integrates art and science education through crafts, history, theatre and more!
This is a great opportunity for children to learn while having fun and exploring downtown Fitzgerald. The registration forms are available online on the first page of the arts council’s website. The council is also recruiting volunteers. Volunteers are able to get hands on experience throughout the week. They are responsible for guiding campers from location to location while ensuring their safety and wellbeing. Without volunteers, summer art camp couldn’t happen!
Those interested in applying to be a volunteer can also find the application on the front page of the art’s council website. Applications have more details on cost to attend and more.
