November 8th and 9th at 7PM
Wilbur will come alive November 8th and 9th at the historic Grand Theatre. Made up of a cast of young students and adults, the Fitzgerald Ben Hill Arts Council community
theatre program has created a lively and delightful rendition of the classic, “Charlotte’s Web.”
The charming story that highlights the value of friendship, compassion and kindness follows the story of a young pig named Wilbur and his unlikely friendship with a talented
spider named Charlotte and a farm girl called Fern.
The play, based on the classic children’s novel by E.B. White, gives these beloved characters a light on stage. Adapted for the theatre by Joseph Robinette, the community theatre troupe will put their own stamp on the tale.
The performance is being directed by local playwright, Michael Brogdon.
The performances on the 8th and 9th will occur at 7 P.M. Tickets are on sale now and available at the Chamber of Commerce, The Carnegie Center and The Train Depot in
Fitzgerald. Tickets will also be available for purchase the night of performance.
